Our priorities for FE and skills in England 2025-26

We will provide sector leadership, integrated digital solutions, and sustainable innovation to advance the FE and skills sector across England.

Position Jisc as the vital strategic partner in the pioneering use of digital, data and technology

  • We will continue to engage with key strategic stakeholders, DfE, FAB, JCQ, Ofqual, Ofsted and Mayoral Combined Authorities to represent the sector voice on all matters digital, data and technology
  • We will build formal strategic partnerships with sector/national agencies, such as, AoC, Edge Foundation, ETF and TechUK
  • We will provide sector leadership across AI, digital transformation and cyber resilience

Deliver integrated solutions that address sector-wide challenges

  • We will launch an updated digital elevation tool with integrated AI, data and digital sustainability competency and validation statements, responding to sector digital challenges
  • We will provide new integrated service bundles tailored to English FE digital transformation needs

Improve the financial sustainability of our digital services

  • We will review the FE England subscription bundle to ensure the services continue to meet the needs of our English FE members
  • We will seek additional funding or partnership opportunities, which supports English FE innovation

Enhance our operational agility and performance in service delivery

  • We will look to automate key internal processes related to FE service delivery, identified via customer experience audits, to reduce response time and increase member satisfaction
