Hedd

Hedd is UK HE’s official degree verification service. Hedd has verified more than 1.5 million UK degrees since it launched in 2011. Hedd leads sector-wide efforts to spread verification best practice and combat degree fraud and is used by employers, screening agencies, universities, embassies and other third parties in more than 140 countries.

Find out how Hedd is working with Jisc colleagues on the use of student record data as the basis for degree verification requests, an important development which will drive up automatic verification rates and deliver significant efficiencies to members and customers.

Sustainability and environmental impact

Location

The Lowry is located on the waterfront in MediaCityUK, in easy reach from Manchester city centre either via bus or tram with parking available in the Quayside. The building is fully accessible with step free access, lifts enabling to all floors and accessible toilets throughout.

Venue

At the event

Any event printing is now FSC certified and fully recyclable. All laminate or UV finishes have been removed from our marketing materials, ensuring that recycling can occur.

Our lanyards, when used, are made of bamboo and PET materials that are biodegradable.

The use of Foamex materials has been replaced with recyclable alternatives for any signage or branding at events. We have eliminated the use of vinyl opting for alternative recyclable or reusable materials.
