This is the second part of a series of five webinars designed to explore generative AI and how to maximize its benefits. We'll focus on what generative AI is and how to use it, accessibility, the use of generative AI tools in daily life, and creativity through generative AI applications.

This webinar examines what AI safety is, looking at age regulations, data entry, misinformation, and terms and conditions of AI tools. We will also investigate ways to enhance privacy and security, focusing on relevant tools and policies. We will discuss AI biases and the responsible use of AI. We’ll look at considerations around copyright and intellectual property.

Anyone from a Jisc member organisation (UK further education colleges, specialist colleges or higher education institutions).

Participants will:
- Exploring the concept of AI safety, an overview of concerns, age regulations, data entry protocols, and terms and conditions, along with issues of misinformation and fairness
- Enhancing knowledge on improving privacy and security in the use of generative AI, alongside reviewing relevant tools, and policies
- Delving into the responsible use of AI
- A look at AI with copyright and intellectual property (IP), focusing on challenges and opportunities
What to expect
- Participate in a discussion about AI safety

- Question and answer session to clarify and discuss the responsible use of AI in educational settings
