About the project
The Hybrid Cloud product is a solution for JANET-connected institutions desiring the benefits of cloud agility and security, combined with the speed, latency, and data sovereignty that only Jisc can provide.
Providing core AWS and Azure services, the Hybrid Cloud product is ideal for running various workloads using familiar tools in a cost environment that Jisc can manage. This setup offers flexible resource allocation without the need for a large initial capital expenditure or dedicated data centre space and is ideal for institutions getting started or well established on their cloud journey.

Delivering cloud resources from the heart of the Janet network means you know exactly where your data is stored. It can be transited without using the public internet.
