Using slide hosting websites
There are opportunities to share presentations and other documents you have created to a larger audience by uploading them to an online slide hosting website. The sites will convert your files into Flash format and because they are streamed, will let you view the presentation very quickly instead of waiting for a lengthy download.
If you have a presentation which incorporates animations and imported video or audio, you will need to research which sites will accommodate these as not all slide hosting sites convert animations, so sites do have their limitations.
One of the key benefits of using a slide hosting site is that you can access the video from anywhere or you can embed it within your virtual learning environment or blog. The learner can look at the presentation on the same page as any associated text, helping to reinforce the subject. Another advantage is that you do not need to have access to a PowerPoint viewer.
