Jisc RSC Wales Technology for Learning Grants 2012/2013

Following the success of the Technology for Learning Small Grant programme 2011/12, Jisc RSC Wales decided to fund a second round of opportunities for 2012/13.

Funding was made available for up to 8 projects worth £2,500 each, aimed at investigating new and innovative technologies and their role in effective and cost efficient learning provision. The programme's aim is to support organisations in taking risks in evaluating the value and benefit of new or innovative use of technology, in cases where the organisation would otherwise not be in a position to do so.

High quality applications were received from supported providers representing all Post 16 sectors and the whole of Wales, making selection a difficult process. In the end the following providers were invited to take part in the programme:

    • Cardiff School of Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education (Wales Deanery)
    • Aberystwyth University
    • ISA Training
    • Swansea ITeC
    • Neath Port Talbot CBC ACL
    • Swansea Lifelong Learning and Employment Training Service
    • Coleg Powys
    • The College Ystrad Mynach
